Expanding Housing Choice

Both the FDIC and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency have proposed bank regulatory changes to the Community Reinvestment Act, a landmark civil rights legislation enacted in the wake of redlining practices that worsened urban divestment and racial wealth inequalities.
